WEDNESDAY 13 Comments On 'Skeletons'

Wednesday 13 (ex-MURDERDOLLS singer) has finished recording his new solo CD, "Skeletons". Tentative songtitles set to appear on the CD include "From Here to the Hearse", "Dead Carolina", "All American Massacre" and "Not Another Teenage Anthem".

As previously reported, Wednesday 13 was involved in a car accident late Sunday night (September 9) as he was returning home from rehearsal in preparation for the upcoming BOURBON CROW tour (Wednesday 13's country project). According to a press release, the car flipped at least once, leaving Wednesday 13 with a broken collar bone and a fractured ankle. All BOURBON CROW dates will be cancelled at this time while Wednesday 13 recuperates.

Commented Wednesday 13: "So it's a wrap, 'Skeletons' is finished and it turned out amazing, 17 tracks total. It's neither like 'Transylvania' nor 'Fang Bang' at all. It's absolutely the heaviest thing that I have ever recorded and its also the most dark and personal as well.

"Fans have been asking why the title 'Skeletons' because it doesn't have my signature funny, campy theme of the previous album titles. Several of these songs are 3 or 4 years old and have been hanging around like skeletons in my closet, so to speak. On the other hand, a lot of the lyrics are like skeletons in my closet, or my head for that matter, that have been haunting my personal life for sometime. This is my most personal recording to date.

"I think 'Skeletons' is as dark and spooky as anything else I've done without focusing on just signing about horror movies. Sure there are still songs on the record where I pay tribute to the horror movies like the Sawyer family from 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Return of the Living Dead', but just expect a different record all together.

"I also want to say thank you to everyone for all the concern and the messages. I am a little battered and bruised but will not be cancelling any of the October or November shows."
